Maps

Well, I've gone as far as I can go with them. Am waiting for
the powers that be to voice their approval of the ones I've
done (8 Blackpool, 2 Lytham) and another basic background
that I'd love to put the stage on but it hasn't been passed

Tickled me that when I finished one last night I sent it off
to the lad in question and he replied this morning asking
why I was still up at midnight doing maps, I should have
been in bed hours before! Does he think I'm old or
something? Well, OK, I suppose I am compared to him!

Had another evening on my own this evening while Ray's out
at some Masonic meeting or other telling them all about S&R.
Must ask him how much he's collected in donations from these
talks he gives cos I bet it's quite a lot.

Oh, it was Rotarians, not Masons.
Yes, I think it *is* a lot. They always send him a cheque,
made out to the S&R, of course, a few days later.

Oh, that misper they were looking for was found on Knutsford
Services. He was totally bewildered but the police got him
home safely. So he's safe now.

Good to hear Pam

Right, an early night for me cos I had a very late one last
night. Going to make my cup of chocolate, sup it slowly and
wander up the stairs. Night all:)

wish I had had a map with contour lines on for the walk I did today.. I
later saw on Multimap how steep it actually was! I'm shattered! I walked up
the Kilpatrick hills today, very steep and than realised during the return
Journey why some like to walk on the verge! Its hellish on the knees
otherwise. should Have taken the camera with me when I went. Instead it
was in the Boot. However the rear quarterlite was broke when I returned, the
seat drawn forwards, and the camerabag missing. Thats me Lost a full Nikon
kit! :-(( waiting for the crime squad to call me tomorrow as they are going
to look for fingerprints. Im not keeping my hopes up though.

Got my chocolate but not got up the stairs yet cos Ray came
home. The evening went well:)
By the time I wake up enough to find he's in bed with me
he's sweating like a pig! He gets ever so warm when he
sleeps. I don't complain cos I often need his warmth to stop
me freezing!
I definitely *am* going up now!

Not good and probably no hope of getting it returned. Is it perhaps covered
by your house insurance ?
