I use news.readfreenews.net AND ntl, so have a choice.
Usually use the top one first so haven't noticed any problem with ntl.

When I have gone from readfreenews to ntl I have not noticed any problem
with the downloading of n/g's etc. so was unaware that there was any
problem.

Is that any better.
