She's a sun worshiper and ATM is on holiday in the Greek Islands. She's
just phoned and says it's cold and raining and she didn't take anything
warm to wear and she's been feeling cold ever since she got there.

Oh dear, poor wife. I hope you told her to buy more clothes and keep

I'm an honest person and so had to tell her about the endless sunshine
we've been having in the UK and the temperatures in the 30's. I had a good
moan about it being *much* too hot for me and the dogs. She was sort of
quiet ....... :-)

It was frosty here last night.

I've got an old friend in Oz who's just got broadband. We've been sort of
in touch since he emigrated in 1972 (I saw him and his wife off from
Heathrow). We're now Skyping :-)
Kept telling him yesterday how hot it was here - told him our temperatures.
Got the feeling he was laughing at me - he was !!

Remember that NTL Van that parks opposite my house on the pavement?
Well today the next door neighbour's eldest daughter's husband (who is a
police officer) left his car there all day. All at that house were out all
day and left their other two cars parked so that in total they were taking
up 4 car parking spaces Grrrr!!!

Hmmph - that's what Baldrick was texting/Emailing me whilst I was on my so
called 'sunshine' cruise (but darned cold with nowt suitable to wear) to
Dalmatian & Greek coast.

Should be wall to wall sunshine and as hot as it is here, there's nothing
worse than having bad weather on holiday, and when you get home everyone
tells you that it has been lovely while you were away.

I subscribe to that group Mike and actually read that post - brilliant :-)
Don't think it's snowing where my wife is but if you can suggest a way to
