...about the RSPB Garden Birdwatch this weekend.
Basically it just means putting out some food to attract the birds,
counting the maximum number of each species you see in one hour and sending
the results to the RSPB.

Been doing it for a few years now Mike. 3 years ago I saw a Goldcrest in
our garden during my Birdwatch hour. Never seen one before or since.

Britain's smallest breeding bird, along with the Firecrest. Lovely little
things they are too.

I'll try my best ( I did last year too) but I can telly them now that
Sparrows will be the most till the Seagulls arrive and scare them away :-(
If I'm lucky my Blackie will make an appearance ( saw him today for the
first time this year) and a couple of Cushie Doos ( also seen today).
