Oh dear!

I am afraid a lovely big wood pigeon has gone inside my Delboy, he wanted to
go out last night when it was dusk but we don't let him out at that time so
he really dashed out this morning without any breakfast then I found him
under the hydrangea bush with his prey.
I know it is only natural but I don't like to think about it!! It is very
seldom he does this.

Send him up here, I've got a few ferral pigeons and about a dozen
magpies he can have.

he!he! we don't get many ferral pigeons or magpies, they are all on the back
lawn where the residents put most of the bird feeders, we mainly have
blackbirds, sparrows and thrushes, probably too small for Delboy to bother
with.

Well I can, just, but it was ages ago. They're too well fed and sleepy

I think perhaps this one was injured as I think he saw it last night and
wanted to go out for it, left his dinner
anticipating a feed of bird and also left his breakfast to dash out there
this morning. He usually sleeps most of the day.

I wish Barb, perhaps I could have set if free then, when he has taken fish
out of the pond he has not harmed them and I have been able to put them back

How terrible - do you mean he ate it all including the feathers ?
I would take him to the Vet for a check up ... these wood pidgeons can be
diesease carriers.
