It's The Unluckiest Day Of The Year

Hmmm, I might go back to bed ;-) ;-)

Yes, my wifi wouldn't work last night (27th), the unluckiness(?) has
carried over to today. Whilst I was under the desk trying to untangle
all the wiring and make sure things were connected properly, the dogs
started barking.. sure enough there is a white van by the gate; I've
ordered loads of stuff online. It's pouring with rain, so I changed
shoes, grabbed a brolly and waded through the mud and puddles to the
gate, there in the postbox is all the mail, Mum's paper and a 'tried to
deliver' card, I was just about to swear when I saw he had written 'in
box with housename', well good job it wasn't Wednesday, 'cos that's
where the rubbish is!
I got back to the front door and as I was opening it I dropped the lot.
Mum's paper, all the mail and the parcel. Now I've got newspaper on
the Aga and all the radiators trying to dry.

ooh, it must be a good Aga if you can dry your radiators on it ;-) ;-)

I think I woke up in the knife drawer ;-)

The good news is that my wifi is now working; don't know what I did,
just tweaked all the connections, didn't change anything. Touchy,
isn't it?

Now, do I go shopping? Should I risk it?

Seems you could be right. Just been for a drive to the local village.
Usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes. Toda it was over 0. There had been
an accident on the one mile straight stretch of road, and a long tail back
both sides. Two fire appliances and an ambulance attended. Then the South
Yorkshire air ambulance arrived too. Certainly a bad day for someone.

Seems it may be correct, went to go to Rye today but had to find lots of
back roads as the main one was blocked by an accident, some of the back
roads were so narrow and blocked I reckon more accidents were caused
trying to pass other cars.

I had my stitches out today and I don't need to wear that thing around my
