MCC...
Good morning from a very noisy Cornwall :-)

BunnyHare...
Morning all
Been raining here most of the night and, according to the news, there is
flooding in parts of the county.
Fine here now, BYT has made an appearance

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Fine and bright here. Not seen any rain but feels a bit cool at 16.1°C
(61°F)

Enjoy your day whatever you have planned

Jackie...
Good morning Barb, showers here.
Have a good day.

BunnyHare...
Well I might have spoken too soon. Weather changed for the worse and we
have had horrendous thunder storms all morning. Stopped raining now and a
bit brighter but still a bit grey looking

Rabbit...
This afternoon while the BYT was still shining in my window I saw Mrs
Nextdoor and her son grabbing the washing off the line. I couldn't see any
rain but from their actions I guessed it was starting. The next thing was a
short but violent hail storm followed by heavy rain. All cleared up now and
there is a promise of a nice sunset as the BYT gets her red pyjamas on.

Funder and frightening through the night accompanied by very heavy rain, or
so I'm told - I never heard a thing!

Good wishes to all poorlies.

Rabbit...
BYT and WFTs here, bright outside and autumnal warm but Mrs Nextdoor will
never get her washing dry 'cos there ain't a breeze at all. There was
overnight/early morning rain and there are a few GFTs floating past now and
again but so far they have passed by.
Good afternoon one and all.

Jackie...
Blowing a gale down here Sandra, Mrs Nextdoor would lose her washing.
Dark clouds keep coming and going.
Just had an invigorating walk along the seafront.

Have a good day.

Anita...
It was a lovely morning until about 10.30 when the heavy rain appeared -
but by 10.45 it had all gone and it is now a bright sunny day again.
Very warm out to :)
Hope all are enjoying their day:)

JoeH...
Good morning all, been raining overnight here but it's drying now just in
time for the start of the Great North Run.

Rabbit...
So why aren't you there instead of here ??? :-)

Just back from an early gym session feeling great (for the minute), now

Rabbit...
Move over Bruce Willis :-)

Rabbit...
Wait till the numbness wears off and the muscles catch up with the brain :-)

enjoying tea and toast. Enjoy your day everyone.

Bill P...

Jackie...
Good old Sunday roast eh! we have lamb as well today.

Anita...
We have roast beef with all the trimmings - one of my favourite dinners

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Or a nice juicy rabbit pie. :)

Anita...
Not Rabbit pie then? ;)

:)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I won't be putting mine in the oven 'til 13-00. Then I can eat just before
the footie starts. :)

Bill P.

Jackie...
I hope you enjoyed your lunch Bill, we have ours later.

noreen...
morning Mike !!saw that on the news yesterday !! we have had a bit of rain
through the night !1 but lovely and sunny now.

Anita...
Why didn't you join in the Great North Run - saw the start of it on tv
:)

JoeH...
First of all, it's a bit of a rip off to enter the GNR these days and
secondly, have you heard of "once bitten"? I did the first one in 1981. All
12000 people who applied were accepted - this was before all of the "me
too" brigade got involved.

Number 5172 (1981) - finished in 1 hr 54 mins.

Anita...
To be honest, Joe - I often wonder what has happened when I watch the
London marathon.
When it started there were none of the professionals running - it was
amateur and was enjoyed by all.
Shame it all boils down to the ' I can do better than you' groups :(

JoeH...
Yup, that's (partly) why I haven't entered since.

Anita...
I wonder how many other would be runners have been put off - such a
shame :(

Hope the heavy rain stops soon ;-)

Rabbit...
I shall have to acquire a taste for frog's legs then :-)

Have a good day what ever the wather;-))))
