Trust me to get it wrong Splodge, but it seems Len got there anyway.
I have it on my computer and it certainly finds pictures you did not know
you had, showed me pictures about installing my computer that I had not seen
before!!

You know Photoshop is very good for doing what you want Len, have you
looked through it - and I am sure you can find a tutorial on the net
using Photoshops for creating collages :)

o i am sure it will do it But it did seem to be a sledgehammer approach
and i hope to find some software that would just do a collage
presentation not a full artisitic publishing type of thing

ok then how about using Publisher - you put what you like as you like
where you like then. I have done collages in publisher and find it very
user friendly.

& Picasa doesn't just make the Collage at Random...
You can pick & choose which Pictures to use & how they are arranged.
It Saves the Collage as an Image File, so you can then Upload it
onto any WebSpace or WebSite, or use it in a Web Page.
Also, things like PaintShop Pro will do it.
& IrfanView will make what it calls a "Contact Sheet" of Pics - all
arranged in straight Rows & Columns, as opposed to being overlapped,
like a Collage is normally expected to be.
BTW - Picasa can also do some quite good Photo Gallery type things
& if you want to re-arrange the Layout or Design of them, it is all
done using Templates, so you can make it look however you want
