I expected a heavy frost this morning but it just felt like it. It's been a
dreich and grey day with what appeared like a cross between a fog and a
mist, it wasn't really either but more like you see in tropical rain forests
only without the heat. It's been a chilly one all day one to keep moving
about in.

Had a phone call from Jerry Atrick on his mobile this evening. He is in
Lerwick where it has been a beautiful sunny day, better than many during
last summer, he says.
He will be taking photos but it will be Friday before he is back at his
computer and able to e-mail them to me.

Just checked in before I serve up my evening meal here to my Son and I
!...It is now 9:29 PM Tuesday night here in Sydney..Oz !..I have just cooked
a Ham and baked Vegies !.. I hate Wednesdays. I have to arise at around
5:50 AM...So I better get off to bed a little earlier tonight !..I have to
go out into the heat of summer tomorrow and deliver nearly 3000 local
Newspapers !.. I don't mind the money .. A pity I have to go out in the Hot
Summer sun for the day though !
Anyway...Good morning to you folk in the UK !...You lucky devils ...Ahh

I will walk the local Shopping Centre before the customers arrive and the
rest will be 'rolled' and thrown into the properties ..I develop great
'Muscle's on my right arm as I endeavour to throw them !..My Son will come
home from work and deliver after I come in and open a bottle of 'Champagne'
to finish the day !...Thursday I will be back on 'Babyminding' duties again
..and if I am not finished..I will need to take her with me in a baby seat
!...

:-))... Thanks Val...I love my Grandchildren ..so much.. My other
Granddaughter starts school tomorrow for the first time !....
She will be my oldest Daughter's 3rd (and last) child at school... I will be
involved this year (and future years as well ) in being available to pick up
some of them from various 'Private' Schools that they are going to !...My
Youngest one Alyssa..She will start Pre-School next year and in a couple of
more years after that ..I will be taking and picking her up from the private
School that all of my children went to ..in another area to the others !

Your grandchildren will always remember you with great affection I should
think in the years to come. I love being involved with my grandchildren
too :)

I have 12 Grandchildren Barry but they are nearly all grown-up and having
their own children now, I have 4 Great-grands (2 boys, 2 girls) but
unfortunately they all live some way away so don't see them that often but
we all keep in touch by phone or e-mails.
