I think you'll find that north east England is closer to southern Sweden
than south west Scotland is.

Hi Anders,

Southernmost Sweden must be near Malmo ? I had a Swedish friend many years
ago and visited Sweden a few times a *long* time ago (early 70's). Loved
Sweden. Stayed in Stockholm mostly but did also visit Motala where my
friend's parents lived. Once spent the whole month of June in Sweden and
didn't see a single cloud for the entire visit :-) Also spent a bit of
winter in Stockholm - not so nice - sometimes getting dark by the time I
got up :-(

It can be, Anders - but like all cities it has its bad sides too, but I
have lived here all my life except for 3 years - so am used to it :)
My niece lived in Stockholm for 3 years and is now resident in Spain -
prefers it there because it is so much warmer :)
