I went to the Drs. this morning and he reckons I will need a replacement hip
joint and probably another replacement knee joint as well??

Sorry to hear that Jackie. Has your GP dictated a referral letter to an
orthopaedic blokey? The person to ask is the surgeon, whenever you see him,
as he's the one who looks at your x-rays. I would have thought 6 - 9 months
from seeing him is about the norm - unless you listen to a certain chap
called TB........

Very impressive Jackie, and the same as my GP now. But I can remember
teasing him about his lack of computer facilities about 15 years ago. Now
his fingers clatter over the computer keyboard even faster than most of us
on SiSu:)))

he!he! I praised my Doctor on his speed on the computer, he said I had made
his day
and he was most impressed when I told him how much I use mine. He is a nice
friendly Doctor.
