Good morning Joe and everyone as you arrive.
Cool down here in Cornwall too, but it's dry at the moment.
I'm sure the weather won't deter you Leeds Meeters from having a wonderful
day/weekend :-) Just travel safe and enjoy yourselves. Lets have lots of
piccies, please :-)
Special thoughts for all poorlies. Isn't it amazing how quickly patients
get discharged these days even following major surgery? There's Old Rose
home again after her knee replacement op in less than a week. Wonderful.
Have a good day.

Good morning Mike and Everyone. Dry but seems colder here and much calmer.

Walter and BYT here so far. A little bit gusty and chilly °C (44.6°F) That
overnight ground frost never materialised though.

And why aren't you enjoying yourself with all the others in Leeds this
weekend?
If I lived as close as you do, I'd be there like a rat up a drainpipe!

Seems the Leeds meet has started well. I am sure they will all enjoy
themselves.
I am surprised how quickly patients are discharged too - I was in Hossie 14
days after my knee op.

They need the beds even more these days, but one has to wonder just how
many do they need for re-admissions of patients who've been discharged

Does make you think FN??

Well when I went in for my hernia repair there was a guy there having his
redone. He said he'd been sent home too early, bu then I was only in
overnight since it ws an afternoon op. If the op had been in the morning
I'd have been discharged that afternoon. As it was they lost me overnight
anyway :( Moved me to a side ward late evening and forgot to tell the staff
who took over from them in the morning.

I was discharged after a week following two open heart operations - seems
to be the norm now.
Fortunately I didn't need to be re-admitted :-)

Been a funny old morning here. First I had Walter above me but just about a
mile away the sky was as black as could be. The BYT arrived here along with
the wet stuff and after the wet stuff stopped the ominous black arrived over
me. Right now it's just stopped chucking it down and up above is blue with
some WFTs as far as I can see. It's damp chilly out there though bright
ATM......oops there's more black in the distance now, guess it's going to be
changeable all day.
Good morning one and all.

Lovely BYT here today but a chilly breeze, not a cloud in the sky (so
far)!!

We're of out later for the 07:30 train to York, changing there and arriving
in Leeds at 09:05 where we will talk about you all.
Have a nice day whatever you do.
