This is useful.
Start/Run
Type in charmap.
Copy/paste into a document.
Saves hunting around for them and doing all those Alt/shifts.

The CharMap (Character Map) Utility is also available from the
normal Start Menu...
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools
& if it isn't there, you can easily make a Shortcut to it & put
the Shortcut where ever you want - on the Start Menu, on the Desktop
or where ever you want.
(Post back for details about how to make a Shortcut, (to CharMap
or anything else) if you aren't sure about how to do that).
& once you have a Shortcut, (anywhere, such as on the Start Menu
or Desktop) you can also make it (or any Shortcut) available directly,
by just Pressing a Key on the Keyboard (with CTRL+ALT)
Highlight the Shortcut, RightClick it & choose "Properties"
Look in the "Shortcut Key: " Field in the Properties of it.
That will be showing as "None"
Click in the "Shortcut Key: " Field & then Press a Key - the Key that
you want to use.
Maybe use "C"? - Though I use that for the Calculator Utility -
So use "M" for the CharMap thingy.
The Field will then change to show "CTRL + ALT + M" (or whatever Key
you Press)
Click [OK]
Then you can just Press CTRL+ALT+M at any time (& in any Program!!!)
- But see [*1] below - To bring up the Character Map Utility
(& Press CTRL+ALT+C to bring up the Calculator, if you set "C" as
the Shortcut Key for that)
[*1]
If a particular Program already uses the Key Combination (that you
choose for the Shortcut), then when you're in *that* Program, the
Program's own thing will take precedence.
