Waiting

Isn't it awful when you're left sitting waiting for something?

The 4x4 has gone in for its annual service & MOT - there's nothing like
Daihatsu for lessening the time spent on upkeep! So if it passes with no
problems it means we can start packing and head north. If it doesn't then we
have to wait till it's sorted.

I hope you do set out o.k. today Pam, perhaps it is only a minor thing wants

the ferry will be waiting for you!

No, not today, Jackie.
When we get the 4x4 back it needs to be packed and the caravan packed and
all Ray's S&R equipment has to go to his deputy before we can set off. That
would mean Thursday at the earliest. We'll see, it all depends on the 4x4:)

We reckon there *is* going to be something needed, don't ask me what, cos
they mentioned it was OK last year but would have to be done this year.

If they don't like the tyres that's OK cos he can bring it home and put the
off-road tyres on, they're better for pulling the caravan anyway.

But I'm sitting here trying not to get excited at the thoughts of heading
north cos it quite probably won't happen.

But if it does then I'm going on a ferry or two:))))
