Jim Reeves had a wonderful voice. Listen to his version Noddie
of "Welcome to My World." The songs you mentioned were
pure Jim Reeves. He is a favorite of mine but then if anyone didn't
like Jim's voice they had to have a lot of wax in their ears.

I. Noddie-Doff...
and a lot of others. In my opinion Jim Reeves had
the warmest, richest, most sensitive voice and
youre right- those who didnt/dont like it arent
hearing properly. It could reduce me to tears, and
one day I answered the front door in such a
state - a neighbour had called whist I was
listening - saw the way I was, sat down to listen,
and left very dewy-eyed..... See if some of the
loud, bumpy, banal cacophony we put up with now
does that to the young ones....( perhaps from
pain)
