Flying ants!

Did anyone have problems with flying ants yesterday?

Touch wood, none so far. Mum has been plagued with ants though but not
the flying variety

I ain't answering on the grounds that I haven't seen them for a couple of
years and I'm not tempting fate :-)

I believe the 16th July is the day they go on wings, mate & die. :-)
When I came home from a very hot, busy dog show last night my kitchen was
alive with the darn things. :-(
I gave everywhere a good spray of Nippon and today I've had my Dyson out
sweeping up all the corpses! :-)

There's usually a nest of them under and around my semi-buried UV Sterilser

Mine is under my garage base.

for my small pong. They haven't made an appearance yet this year.
