Started raining here in Cornwall just as I got in my car to drive to the
Adult Education Centre in Falmouth at 12.30 p.m. and it didn't stop until
about 4 p.m.
it looks as though it is heading towards Wrinklie's caravan and points east

Jackie...
Really hot day here not a cloud in sight. I hope the rain has missed WO!

minutes, and admitted defeat.. Relief to be indoors again. Seems silly,

Its a beautiful sunny day here down `sarf` Marg, all the birdies are singing
and the flowers look wonderful.
I have been sitting out on our patio but have come indoors to cool off!

Bill P...
Hottest day so far up here.
Bin round me sisters to move a garden shed for her and spent the rest of the
day pottering in the my garden. Nicely tired now.

doesn't it?? The 'Tree Doctor' was in the close again- took a lot of
branches from opposite tree. I always love to see that tree with sun shining
on it. The noise was deafening, when I went into back garden (in me nook)
the noise was as bad there - the *local* broadcaster with their loud-loud
rap (or something) through wide open windows... plugged ears up for a while.
It suddenly all ceased, but the birds were nowhere to be heard !!!! I'm
sunkissed already. What is it like for you- having a good day???

I agree, it's been a glorious day. Beautiful warm sunshine, gentle
breeze, a cock blackbird singing is heart out - and Terry mowing the
back lawn :))
