Glad your Mum is progressing well Barb but it is still worrying for you that

was visiting Mum
When I left her on Saturday she was in good spirits and was beginning to
take a few steps with the help of the physio. I had been told that either
she would be going to a convalescent home for a couple of weeks or, when
they deemed she was ready, would be going back to her flat.
Tonight my brother has been told that she will be going home in a couple of
days, no place in the home due to the fact that she has been in contact with
MRSA.
In itself that is ok as I know she would sooner go home but unless her
walking has come on in leaps and bounds (sorry pun not intended) since I
left then I am not sure how she will cope. Even with carers coming in night
and morning and probably at midday she still needs to be able to walk
sufficiently well to be able to get herself to the toilet and to make a
drink for herself.
Think I may have to ring the social worker tomorrow and have a chat!

That is good news Barb, but I know you'll still be worrying for her. Maybe
you should think about one of these push button thingies around the neck as
sometimes carers can be late arriving or omit a visit altogether. Can a
neighbour also look out for her?
{{{{{{Barb}}}}} Hugs and good wishes to you and your Mum
