The snow is still lying here but we are forecast for some heavy rain.

We had rain last night which cleared most of ours away. By this morning the
roads and pavements were perfectly clear.

Good morning all,

A bright sunny day, in this corner of London - a little chilly in a breeze.
But we have the sun nice and early today:)

Been a breezy night and it's still a breezy day, been wet too. As a result
all the snow has gone from around here, (which is just as well 'cos I DO NOT
drive on snow and I wouldn't have got out this morning ) but I can still see
some on the country hills around me. I don't know if there is any on Arran
though 'cos I couldn't see Arran this morning. Considering the breeze and
the wet stuff the air out there is milder than I expected. There is still
one patch of snow in my garden, where it fell off the roof and it's buried
some Daffodils under it, be interesting to see if they can survive that.
With the wet stuff back on that pile is disappearing fast and I can now see
the poor little Daffies lying on the ground, we'll see tomorrow if Mother
Nature can sort that out.

Fine and dry here after yesterday's little snow flurry
Might be able to get out for my walk later and take some more pictures

Morning Mike and everyone

I too was thinking about Russell this morning and wondering if he had
returned home by now. His wife and daughter will be thrilled to have him
back, what a welcome he will get :)

Cold and sunny here so far today. We have the council tree surgeon working
away removing a tree that had fallen across our fence, from the footpath
running alongside farmland, and damaged it during the strong winds we had
here a week or so ago.

Good morning Mike - still no rain here! we had a lovely sunny day yesterday
with a very chilly wind and today looks the same!
I hope Russell had a good journey home, sad to leave his Mum but wanting to
get home to his family!!

Morning Mike we had quite a bit of snow yesterday , so it is still here
making walking difficult, but
the roads are clear.
Yes he was due to go back yesterday, do hope he got off ok ;-))))

Russ was due to fly home Sunday, So he should be there by now I think

I had a great long weekend. The beer festival was excellent with over 40
real ales all on hand pump. Met up with old friends and made new ones.

We seem to have woken to a Springish day here, BYT gaily
shining and the March wind gaily blowing.
I hope all is going well for Russell, it was lovely that he
was able to get home to see his Mum. I bet she was
delighted. Safe journey back to *your* home Russ:)
