Good morning from a very wild, wet and windy Cornwall. It really has been a
BunnyHare...

Arternoon all
Was wild, wet and windy here overnight too. Wind has died down now but it
raining quite heavily. A day for staying in and doing the crosswords in the
Sunday papers
Hope you are all feeling fine today and that the unwellies are on the mend

stormy night. RNAS Culdrose reported wind gusts of 84 m.p.h. and Falmouth
Coastguard - a fine organisation! - 92 m.p.h.

Good morning Mike and Everyone, it has certainly been a rough night here too
still blowing well now! Just looked out and I think all our trees are still
standing.
I just hope there have not been any tragedies or too much damage anywhere.
I hope it calms down later.
I wonder if you have `any` bulbs left Mike??

Been a wild one here too and still is but it was expected with a severe
weather warning in place.
Not really a lot of wet stuff but the winds blew my empty garden rubbish
wheelie bin round the side and then round the back of the house. If it
hadn't blown in that direction it would have hit the car. Some plant pots
blown over but otherwise we've got off lightly though I expect there may be
structural damage somewhere around.
For all the gales though the air outside is quite mild, that is if you can
stand up in it long enough to tell :-)
Good morning one and all.

Goodness! Glad your'e still there in one piece!
|
Our roof tiles for a while were doing a fine impression of a Mexican Wave.
It was weird lying in bed listening to them 'rippling' along the length of
the roof. Just hope they are all still there when I go to inspect MCC
Mansion at daylight.
Spent much of yesterday putting up Christmas lights outside - I wonder how
many bulbs I will have to replace later today.

Power surge in Cornwall tonight?

Hope all poorlies are following Bill P and Pam Goose's example and getting
better.

It was a dreadful night here too Mike, and very noisy. It's stop raining
now, thank goodness.
I had to phone India at 8am to see why my poota wasn't working.
Have a great day everyone

He he, remember the 'call centre' video?
Very gusty here in Kent too. All the trees are OK but one of the bird
tables is down... must have been quite a night.

And did they tell you? And if so, could you understand them? :)

I have a mental picture of Bill and Pam and a string of others doing hop,
skip and jump now. Sorry, ignore me... I'm just happy.

Hi./
Yet another reminder NOT to retire to the West Country!
It's been a little windy o/night, but not to the same extent.

hiya from a bright sunny, windy corner of London.
We had rain again in the night and the wind was very strong, rattling
the gates all night.
Today we have blue skies again and bright sunshine, the wind is still
with us but not as strong as the last 2 nights. A little cooler out in
the wind too.
Hope all are having a good day
|
Nice & sunny right now, with some high, thin cloud. 8.5C outside.
Keep on trucking, DC.
