Can I ask that you post the "next step" here also, as there may be
others following (and also trying to complete) the process that Anders
is going through. It would be frustrating for them if the advice being
given suddenly stopped because it was taken "off thread".

"Now the last but one step to getting a news server account.
You need to send an email to:
newsadmin@datemas.de
subject=Register news datemas de
with your email address and a password (5 .. 8 chrs)
they will then mail you back saying a news account has been created for
you. When he does drop me a mail or post in silversurfers and we can
then setup the News Account so you can use Thunderbird to read all the
silversurfer posts."
