ned...
Remember all that bad press Tiscali had about cancelling an account?
Well, I just been an dunit.
Nice as you please.
No huffin an puffin.
Sweet as ninepence.
No wait till the end of the month.
Done. Now.
................. I wonder ????

Tickettyboo...
ooh there speaks a brave man.
Now don't forget to tell your bank, long as you cancel the d/d you are ok.

ned...
Thank you kindly for the sincere concern but,
........ since it has always been paid through the BT quarterly bill
(It was an off-peak evenings and weekends only account) and BT have
said (???) that they are cancelling their part of the deal, I'm hoping
that all will be jam side up. I've had ever such a nice confirmation
of cancellation from Tiscali which has been saved to 27 safe places,
just in case.
:-))

Rabbit...
Wot only 27 ??? To be safe save it in 666 places :-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I waited for 12 months after I'd cancelled mine - and was then threatened by
a debt collector they employed with action in the small claims court to get
1½ months money I hadn't paid them 'cos they hadn't taken it from my credit
card account and hadn't tried to contact me to ask mr for it. So I'd give
it much more than a month. :(

Anita...
I cancelled my Lineone account without any problems too, Ned :)

Toyboy...
When we cancelled our Tiscali account all was well, then after a gap of 3
years they sent us a bill & because we paid by direct debit it took it out
of my bank account for the 3 years.
( So keep your records)
Toyboy

Ali...
And actually cancel your direct debit mandate.
