Pam the goose...
It's 4 years this week since I shocked you all with my bleeding brain and
the repairs are going along nicely - well, a lot of them hurt but if you
have to go through pain to get back to what you were you just have to put up

Jackie...
_Pleased to hear you have conquered the gas cooker Pam, it would be
really wonderful if you can get your legs where you want them, I wonder

Pam the goose...
I didn't take it like that either, don't worry:)
Hence the double grin.

~~Linda~~...
Good, sometimes I type without fully engaging my brain and would hate to
upset anyone!

Er, we were so amazed that I was up early we took a day trip to Northwich
and ate a sandwich in Sainsbury's cafe!! Actually if we'd been in I was
going to do another soup but I'll do it tomorrow:)

~~Linda~~...
Ooh good, what time do we get our soup bowls ready? hehe

Pam the goose...
I've been brought back to life by a great teacher, he insists that lunch is
between 12 and 1 so I serve it then:)

Form an orderly queue and I'll modem it about 12.15:))

~~Linda~~...
Read elsewhere that it was veggie and some nice sounding rolls, shame I
missed it!

if Physio can help that?? with your determination I am sure you will do
that too!

with it.

A big problem has been fear of the cooker. One day a few weeks back when I

Tyke...
Not now - congrats on another step forward Pam :-)

Pam the goose...
Ta muchly:))

looked at the cooker (gas) I didn't feel the rush of fear so turned one of
the lights on and looked at it. Decided that I wasn't as irrationally afraid
of it as I had been and made a note to remember to follow that up.

Well, today was the day to follow it up. Usually I make lunch of
sandwiches/rolls and that does us. Today it looks black outside and we
needed cheering so I left Ray in the lounge and I went into the kitchen to
sort out lunch. Got a tin of Scotch Broth out of the cupboard and went
through the whole rigmarole to serving it hot in soup bowls with a bread
roll.

Boom-boom!!!! I did it!! And it was lovely!! And it really surprised

BunnyHare...
Brilliant news Pam. Another triumph. Just shows what patience and
perseverance can achieve

Pam the goose...
Thanks Barb:)
What are you doing up at this time of the morning?

Gander!!

So, you just have to be patient and w*rk at the progress so you eventually
get to where you need to be. What will it be next? I'm sick of my legs

Grannie Annie...
Sorry Pam, I wasn't around 4 years ago. Why does (did) the cooker
scare you?
Well done for overcoming it though.
Now if it was my DB I'd understand, he has an allegy to gas, he keeps
blowing his eyebrows off, LOL.

dislocating but I just cannot w*rk out how to stop that. Even the Dr
couldn't suggest anything except maybe physiotherapy. When they eventually
offer me an appointment maybe I'll see if it'll make them stay where they

Aries...
well done Pam - I love hearing updates on your repairs - and that's a
biggie :)

Anita...
That is good news indeed, Pam - my you don't stop making headway - long
may it continue for you :))

Tyke...
Fingers crossed for a whole string of helpful appointments :-)

Pam the goose...
Thanks, Russel, we'll see if that happens:)))

should be:)

Foxy at w*rk...
Right then Pam. I will have a bowl of tomato soup please :-)

Splodge...
And I'd like a veggie soup please Pam
Well done - you done good:)))
