I've recently got another printer scanner. So to try it out I scanned a bank

It's not encryption.
But yes, many Graphics Software Programs & Utilities (& also Scanner
Drivers & some Printer Drivers) are now including special Routines which
check for if Banknotes are being Scanned or Images of them are
being Edited or Printed.
Both the American & British Governments put pressure on the
Manufacturers, cos modern Scanners, Software & Printers are now
so very good at faithfully & accurately reproducing things like
Banknotes.

Oh I must have a go at that and see if it's on our notes. What value note

It was a £20 & I tried both sides of it. So it's not just the number that
stops it printing. it goes about a third of the way on either side then puts

Just scanned and printed a Bank of England £20, a Clydesdale £20 note and a
Clydesdale £10 and all printed OK. They might be older notes though.

All modern scanners have this, you need to use older scanners for bank
notes :-)

It's not the scanner that's the problem it's the printer part.
As for you Rabbit you always were lucky. So when you've printed a few of
those Clydesdale's ones off are you going to take me out seeing as I can't
afford It. LOL
