Received this in my mail today (from a friend) , don't know
if its genuine or not but forearmed and all that.
pmj...
Worth bearing in mind

Yep - It's always a good idea to be wary of anything that comes
in unsolicited, claiming to be some kind of "Warning"...
|
pmj...
|
Which *immediately* should make people stop & think carefully about
whether it's justy yet another Hoax type eMail.
|
pmj...
|
Well, *everybody* should (as a matter of course) be "extremely careful",
anyway, when using Internet Mail!!! - Shouldn't they?...
|
pmj...
|
Well...
*Any* kind of Internet eMail can be used for propagating Hoaxes
(as well as viruses & other Malware), can't it?
But it's odd (or is it?) that it *does* (very often) tend to be
people who use things like Yahoo, Hotmail & AOL etc, who are often
the very people who frequently Send these sort of Hoaxes around,
to all their mates (cos it's so easy to Forward eMails) thus
propagating & perpetuating them even more!

|
Oh, oh!...
No doubt at this pointy, they're going t omention some big,
well-known, famous Computer/Internet Company?
So as to try to make it sound more "Authoritative"?...
|
pmj...
|
Yep!!!
Just as expected.
So, at this point, (if not before), it goes straight in the Bin,
no need to Read it any further.
|
pmj...
|
Yep.
Good idea!
:-)
Whatever else it says is irrelevant, so there's not a lot of point
in quoting any of it, other than to point out yet more (easily
recognisable) characteristics of a typical "Round Robin" Circular,
Multi-Forwarded type Hoax email.
|
pmj...
|
Yep, it's always a good idea to check up for yourself, when you
et something like this.
|
pmj...
|
Thanks for the Warning!!!
:-)
Oh!
I almost forgot!...
Did it have a bit (near the end, prolly in Capitals), saying that
everybody should Forward it on to all their Contacts?
:-)

|
It did, don't they all ?? :o))
