Linedancer...
I was clicking my mouse and when I looked my desktop toolbar has gone over
to the right hand side.
How do I get it back at the bottom please ?
(W 98SE)

MCC...
Click and hold your mouse down over it and just drag it back to where it
belongs, Pat.
It may not look as though it is moving but it will be.

Linedancer...
Thanks Mike, I have had it all over the place, now it's back where it should

Foxy at w**k...

Foxy at w**k...
I just couldn't resist

MCC...
I can't remember if the option exists in Windows98, but try right clicking
on the task bar, and if the option "Lock the Task Bar" is there, tick it.
That'll stop it being moved again.

Ali...
The same way you put it there!

Linedancer...
Ah, but I didn't know how I had done it Ali, I was experimenting with my
mouse sitting on the settee, just to see how far away from the pc it would
work. When I looked at the monitor, the toolbar had moved

Drag the toolbar (not any of the buttons/icons on it) back to the bottom.
I find a quarter-circular motion in the common corner works best.
The taskbar and any toolbars will dock along any edge of the screen.

Linedancer...
I will try and remember that in case it accidentally happens to move again
;-)

pmj...
& it can actually be quite useful, when you find out that you can
actually have ToolBars on any (or even all!) of the edges of the Screen!
:-)

You don't have to make do with only having one.

You can have the ordinary TaskBar at the Bottom (or left or right
side or top) & you can have *additional* ToolBars, with various
things on, such as the QuickLaunch Bar, or Links Bar, or Address Bar
or Control Panel or whatever, on any or all of the other edges.
