further to Noreen's problems

I had problems with PlusNet most of the day. Connected via my PAYG and
managed to see the post in UPS re powering down hardware etc. Did that
and everything was sorted
Told Noreen this but she doesn't seem to have the same problem I had.
I couldn't get newsgroups, web pages, msn or anything
Noreen can get web pages, and msn just UPS she can't get.
Think she is a bit worried about unplugging the modem or anything like
that in case she can't get anything back

Well - I was actually speaking to her on Skype when she couldn't get UPS so
it wasn't her broadband connection.

Yep and she's on msn now. She thinks Pete might have come up with a
solution about the NIN subscription running out but she hasn't had a
reminder from them.
Gone now to try and sort it out with a little bit of hand holding

I've noticed "Firstgate" in my list of passwords etc. but couldn't remember
what it was. Just logged into Firstgate and looked at transactions. Seems I
subscribed to NIN on 15th February last year.

I feel happier now :-) If not self renewing, I'll at least be able to
re-subscribe :-)

when we paid it all ran from the same date. I just couldn't remember what

I did too and have just been to my account with FirstGate and it would
appear that I don't have to do anything, it will auto renew and the 10
euros will be charged to the card details I gave them when i first got it.
I think some people chose not to pay using FirstGate, but by a different
method, so they would have to check the emails they were sent at the
tiem..LOL you all 'did' keep the mails didn't you?

Sorry i didn't see your post before Pete , it was Nin as far as i was
concerned , all I got was cannot find server !! i did send them an e-mail
asking if there was any prob there end , they did reply and said there was
no problem with Nin or my account !! suggested I check in there FAQs , but
the URL didn't work ;-))))
