AVG Problem

AVG has suddenly told me :-

"Internal Virus Database Version is 268.9.3/374 and was released on
23/06/2006 (7 days ago). Database update is recommended"

I press update and it goes off to the web and comes back saying I'm up to
date.

I even tried removing AVG and re-installing but it's still telling me the
same thing.

What's so annoying is after all these years I've got used to that pretty
coloured AVG icon but now it's gone into greys and looks horrible, apart
from alerting me to something being wrong every time I look at the systray!!

Anyone any suggestions how to get my pretty icon back or even tell me why
AVG thinks I'm out of date?

I say give it a bit of patience. A day or so at most. Looks like a
problem their end to me.

I still say it was a problem with their update server :)

Ah, that's what it's given me.
Still don't know why it said I was out of date:(

Wait a minute! My systray tells me it's Sunday 25 June. That message told me
7 days ago was the 23 June -
"and was released on 23/06/2006 (7 days ago)"

Something *did* go wrong but it's sorted itself out I guess.
